Cambridge High School & The Bridge

I graduated from Cambridge High School in Milton, GA in May 2022, and graduated as a member of the Audio/Visual Technology & Film Career Tech pathway. Throughout my senior year, as part of my final year in the pathway, I regularly contributed segments towards Cambridge’s in-house production, The Bridge, a semi-syndicated student-produced program viewed by the campus community. These segments applied my skills in writing, B-Roll and interview camera work, audio and video editing, and general creativity. I was often challenged with my segments, but I did much of them on my own due to my skills and ability to quickly turn around assignments.

Additionally, I assisted numerous other segments once I was finished with my own for the week; among my most notable roles, I was the routine audio recorder for the sports segment. I also contributed a large amount of B-Roll to the program’s archives, some of which continues to be used in segments today. However, much of my time was spent working on the Newswire segment, especially in the latter half of the school year, where I applied a more journalistic approach to reporting on events happening around campus. Because of this, I was able to be a part of every episode we produced during the school year, resulting in 21 total segments.
