CDVL

I joined Agnes Scott’s Center for Digital and Visual Literacy as a Digital/Visual Literacy (DVL) Tutor in September 2022, and in my time with the CDVL, my time has been primarily spent supporting the campus community in developing their digital proficiency skills. These have included, but are not limited to, website creation and development; video, audio, and podcast production; graphic and visual design; and building digital projects alongside my clients and my team.

While my primary role as a tutor has remained the same, my in-house contributions with the CDVL have varied throughout my time. Each semester, I have worked within different digital proficiencies under different committees. My committee assignments have included:

• Creating videos about audio and video production resources within the center.
• Tracking the center’s the Kanban board tasks and maintaining the center calendar.
• 3D printer maintenance and assistance.
• Creating videos about resources within the Creative Innovation Studio and Workroom (CISAW) space
• Assisting with the writing, production, and editing of the center’s in-house parody videos.

Outside of my committee work, I have made a number of posters, graphics, and presentations, and attended numerous tabling and photography events as a representative for the CDVL. I have also contributed to a number of center-hosted workshops, including a Wikipedia editing workshop and green-screen workshop, and assisted with two student film festivals.
